Anne Lortie

Dr. Anne Lortie is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Medicine. She is affiliated with the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center and holds a secondary affiliation with the Department of Neurosciences. Her work focuses on pediatric epilepsy, neuro-neonatology, and cerebral electrophysiology.

Dr. Lortie leads the Cerebral Electrophysiology Laboratory and manages specialized clinics for complex epilepsy, neonatal seizures, and ketogenic diet therapies. Her research spans genetic and clinical aspects of epileptic disorders, neuroimaging, and metabolic neurological conditions.

Her recent publications highlight collaborations in neurogenetics, pediatric neurology, and neuroimaging. She has secured funding from 15 research projects since 2001 and received 8 sponsorships from pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Lortie has contributed to 60 peer-reviewed publications and presented extensively at international conferences.

She has held leadership roles in academic programs and clinical research initiatives, including affiliations with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Senior Canada Research Chair in Developmental Neuropsychology.
