Anne Lachiewicz

Anne Lachiewicz, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She specializes in treating infections in immunocompromised hosts, including those with solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant and burns. As the leader of the UNC Infectious Diseases inpatient studies team, she focuses on understanding infections and advancing treatment for infections by enrolling hospitalized patients into clinical trials. She also serves as the Director of the Immunocompromised Host Infectious Diseases Fellowship and is actively involved in the Infectious Diseases Fellowship program and trainee education.
