Dr. Anne Kruger is an Australian academic affiliated with the University of Queensland (UQ) as an Associate Lecturer at the School of Communication and Arts and an Affiliate of the Centre for Communication and Social Change. Her career spans over two decades across academia, journalism, and digital verification advocacy.
Her research focuses on digital communication, disinformation studies, media literacy, and strategic communication. She has authored numerous works on verification practices, responsible reporting, and combating misinformation in democratic societies and Asia-Pacific regions.
Her publications address themes including:
