معرفی
Anne Jörgensen Lindahl serves as an External Researcher at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Humanities, Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, while completing her PhD fellowship at the Centre for the Study of Early Agricultural Societies (CSEAS). She is actively involved in the 'Changing Foodways in Prehistoric Southwest Asia' project funded by the Frie Forskningsråd Kultur og Kommunikation.
Her educational background includes a BA in Scandinavian prehistory from Lund University (2014) and an MA focused on Palaeolithic Europe and micro-wear analysis from Leiden University (2017). Fieldwork experience spans annual excavations at Middle and Upper Palaeolithic sites in Israel since 2012, with additional work in France, Spain, Denmark, England, and Norway.
Research interests center on prehistoric food procurement systems, specializing in micro-wear analysis of chipped stone tools from Natufian and PPNA sites in Jordan. Her methodological approach combines laser confocal microscopy and residue analysis to reconstruct ancient food processing techniques. Recent publications demonstrate consistent focus on sickle gloss analysis and stone tool functionality during the transition to agriculture in Southwest Asia.
Current research projects include functional analysis of chipped stone assemblages from Shubayqa 1 (Natufian) and Shubayqa 6 (PPNA) in northeastern Jordan. She serves as co-editor for ground stone tool research proceedings and collaborates internationally with researchers across Europe and the Middle East.
