Anne Hartmann

Anne Hartmann (Dipl.-Ing.Dr.nat.techn.) is a faculty member at the Institute of Hydrobiology and Aquatic Ecosystem Management, part of the Department of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). Her research focuses on aquatic ecosystems, biodiversity assessment, and ecological impacts of environmental changes.

Education:

Research interests include: ecological status evaluation of streams, DNA barcoding for species identification, invasive crayfish management, and biogechemical cycles in aquatic environments. Her recent work highlights the use of eDNA and molecular methods for biodiversity monitoring.
