Anne Grethe Julius Pedersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Culture and Learning within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Aalborg University. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to climate change, sustainability, and citizen participation in green energy transitions. She has led projects such as 'Deling, forhandling og dannelse af viden i den grønne energiomstilling' (2022–2022), emphasizing knowledge co-creation between diverse stakeholders.
Her academic work includes studies on environmental communication, public policy, and educational methodologies. Notable publications explore tensions in sustainability initiatives, interdisciplinary pedagogy, and the discourse around green energy policies. Pedersen has been recognized with the Teacher of the Year award at her faculty (2020) and the prestigious Ph.D. Prize from the Communication and Language Union (2008) for her genre analysis of investor relations newsletters.
