Anne Frølich

Anne Frølich is a Clinical Professor at the University of Copenhagen's Department of Public Health, Section of General Practice. She leads the Department for Coordinated Patient Pathways at Bispebjerg Hospital in Region Hovedstaden. Her work focuses on improving healthcare coordination for chronically ill patients across hospitals, community health centers, municipalities, and general practitioners. Key projects include SIKS Samarbejdet (a cross-sectoral initiative for chronically ill patients), early detection of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), comparative studies of Danish and Kaiser Permanente healthcare systems, and The Bellagio Project to enhance patient-centered primary care in Europe and the US.
