Anne-Claude Ambroise-Rendu

Anne-Claude Ambroise-Rendu is a University Professor of contemporary history at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, serving as Deputy Director of the Institute of Cultural and International Studies (IECI). She is affiliated with the Department of History and the Center for the Cultural History of Contemporary Societies (CHCSC) laboratory.

Her research spans multiple interconnected historical domains:

• Environmental History examining ecological concerns and media framing
• History of Justice and Crime tracing violence in French society from Belle Epoque to present

She serves as co-editor-in-chief of Le Temps des médias, reflecting her leadership in media historical scholarship.
