Anne Benninghaus

Anne Benninghaus is a Researcher at the Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Engineering within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where she contributes to the mediTEC research consortium.

Her research spans interdisciplinary biomedical domains with emphasis on:

• Biomechanics and surgical technology innovation
• Mechatronics and robotics for medical applications
• Ultrasound and shock wave therapies
• Integration of medical devices with usability and rehabilitation medicine (RM) frameworks

As part of mediTEC, she engages in advancing medical engineering solutions while supporting academic programs including the Master's in General Mechanical Engineering through student advisement and practical research activities.
