Prof. Anne Beaulieu is a Professor at the Knowledge Infrastructures Department, Campus Fryslân, University of Groningen. Her work focuses on knowledge infrastructures, climate data studies, and digital leadership. Currently on sabbatical until August 2025 in Moncton, Canada, she explores epistemic diversity through a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS) and the University of Amsterdam's Data Science Centre. She leads initiatives like the Digital Leadership course for executives and contributed to the UG Comenius Project, recognized by the Council of Europe for its privacy education resources. Her research emphasizes liveable futures, data ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with notable engagements at EASST2022 and roles in PhD supervision (e.g., Dina Friis’ dissertation).
Research Interests: Her work spans knowledge infrastructure design, climate data governance, and ethical AI practices. She advocates for interfaces that support diverse epistemic communities and has published on topics like ecological justice, conservation science, and sustainable development goals.
Recognition: Awards include the IAS Fellowship (2023-2024) and the UG Comenius Project’s top 10 best practice honor (2022). She has advised on data ethics frameworks and co-authored influential papers on climate change impacts and biodiversity conservation.
