معرفی
Anne Arnett, PhD, is a Scientist in the Division of Developmental Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She leads the Arnett Lab, which is part of the Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on brain-behavior relationships in children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, autism, and learning disorders. Her research integrates genetic, neurophysiological (EEG/ERP), and neuropsychological approaches to advance precision medicine for pediatric populations.
Her research interests center on identifying neurocognitive and genetic etiologies of ADHD and autism, with a focus on early biomarkers that can predict developmental trajectories. She investigates individual differences in brain activity, attention regulation, and motor development, particularly through non-invasive EEG and cognitive testing. Her work aims to translate findings into personalized interventions and improved clinical care for children and families.
Dr. Arnett’s recent publications reflect a strong trend in using advanced neurophysiological methods to understand heterogeneity in ADHD, including studies on EEG dynamics, genetic subtypes, comorbid conditions, and longitudinal neural stability. Her work spans clinical, genetic, and cognitive neuroscience domains, with increasing emphasis on precision diagnostics and preventative strategies.

Dr. Arnett has received research funding from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the GRAMMY Museum Foundation, and the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation. She actively mentors postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and clinical research assistants. Her lab runs multiple studies including the Genomics Study, RACCOON Study, and PUMAA Study, focusing on genetics, rhythmic timing, and substance use prevention in youth with ADHD.
The Arnett Lab is embedded within the Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience at Boston Children’s Hospital, located at Two Brookline Place. The team includes postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and clinical research assistants, and collaborates with labs such as the Doan Lab and Pranjić Lab. The lab emphasizes community engagement, public education through webinars and podcasts, and dissemination of findings to families and clinicians.
