معرفی
Annalise Maughan is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Colorado School of Mines. Her research focuses on developing structure-dynamics-property relationships in functional solid-state materials for renewable energy applications, particularly in perovskite semiconductors and solid-state electrolytes. She emphasizes crystal-chemical control through targeted synthesis and interdisciplinary approaches combining chemistry, physics, and materials engineering.
Education: B.S. from Northern Arizona University; Ph.D. from Colorado State University; Postdoctoral Fellow at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Research interests include solid-state synthesis, X-ray/neutron scattering, and materials property measurements. Her group collaborates with NREL and uses advanced facilities for scattering experiments. Recent work explores ion transport mechanisms in cyanide-based electrolytes and 2D perovskite compositions.
Publications emphasize energy storage innovations and structural dynamics in materials. Advising focuses on training students in synthesis and advanced characterization techniques.
