Annalisa Degenhard, M.Sc., is a research assistant and doctoral student at the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Group of the University of Ulm, Germany. She joined the group in July 2022 after completing her M.Sc. in Media Informatics at the same university. Her work focuses on virtual reality (VR) systems, presence measurement, and gamification-based software development. She has collaborated with Schultech GmbH and the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology during her studies.

- Strong background in mobile application development and usability engineering
- Active reviewer for major HCI conferences including CHI and IEEE VR
Research Focus: Development of immersive VR systems, stress/trauma therapy applications, and presence questionnaires. Her work combines technical implementation with psychological analysis of virtual environments.
Recent Publication: First-authored paper at CHI 2025 addressing VR presence sensitivity and questionnaire design. The research analyzes discrepancies in presence measurement using React Native-based implementations.
