Dr Annabel Dukes is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the University of York, specializing in medieval literature within the Department of English and Related Literature. Her work bridges Middle English, Latin and Old French lyrics, and manuscript studies.
Education:
- PhD in English and Related Literature, University of York
- PGCE from the Institute of Education, UCL
Research Focus: Middle English lyric development (1150–1300), vernacular theology, genre theory, and anchoretic literature. She explores manuscript anthologies and translational approaches to humanities research.
