Anna Zseleva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Quantitative Economics, Maastricht University, Netherlands. She holds a PhD in Game Theory from Maastricht University (2017), an MSc in Quantitative Economic Analysis from Corvinus University of Budapest (2013), and a BSc in Economic Analysis from the same institution (2011). Her research focuses on Game Theory, Stochastic Games, and Decision Theory, with recent work emphasizing repeated games, switching costs, and behavioral strategies. She has published in top journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, International Journal of Game Theory, and Operations Research.
Her academic career includes research fellowships at Tel Aviv University (2018–2020) and the Higher School of Economics, Saint Petersburg (2017–2018). She teaches courses on Game Theory, Quantitative Methods, and Economic Analysis at Maastricht University. Zseleva has received accolades including the 1st place in the OTDK 2013 and TDK 2012 competitions, and travel grants from Maastricht University and international institutions.
