Anna Wood is a Research Project Support Officer and PhD student at Bangor University, affiliated with the School of Environmental and Natural Sciences and the Molecular Ecology and Evolution group (MEEB). She is supervised by Professor Si Creer and Dr. Amy Ellison. Her work focuses on molecular ecology and applying DNA-based techniques to ecological research, particularly within the Horizon 2020 EU Green Deal “SUPERB” project, which investigates biodiversity impacts of forest restoration through soil and arthropod metabarcoding.
Anna holds an MSc in Biology from the University of Nottingham (2021). Her research interests include understanding ecological communities and biodiversity dynamics through advanced molecular methods.
