Anna Truzzi is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology (Neuroscience) at Queen’s University Belfast’s School of Psychology. Her research focuses on developmental cognitive neuroscience, studying infant and caregiver brain development during early childhood with expertise in social development and neurodiversity. She employs interdisciplinary methods including fMRI, EEG, and computational modeling. Truzzi holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Trento and RIKEN Centre for Brain Science, Japan. She has received multiple awards including the Postdoc Paper Prize (2023) and Travel Award (2019). Her teaching includes modules like Neuropsychology and Psychology in Everyday Life. She supervises 8 MSc theses and has extensive international teaching experience at Trinity College Dublin, Nanyang Technological University, and others. Her work contributes to UN SDGs related to quality education and sustainable communities through science communication initiatives.
