معرفی
Anna Solvang Båtnes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on marine ecology, zooplankton dynamics, and aquaculture challenges. She holds a Master's degree (NTNU and UNIS) in trophic interactions involving king auks and a PhD in marine biology (NTNU/UNIS) studying Arctic polar night light effects on ecosystems.
Her current project addresses salmon lice spread mechanisms in aquaculture and wild salmon populations. Key competencies include ecophysiology, Arctic marine systems, and bioluminescence in plankton. She has published extensively on copepod phototaxis, Arctic food webs, and salmon lice control strategies.
Publications span molecular approaches to parasite control, biofouling analysis, and Arctic ecosystem dynamics. Collaborations include projects on SNP-based genetic architecture and Arctic fjord ecology. Her work integrates field observations with experimental marine biology to address environmental and aquaculture challenges.
