Anna Savage

Anna Savage is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Central Florida's College of Sciences. Her research explores evolutionary adaptation in natural populations facing anthropogenic changes, focusing on amphibians and ectothermic vertebrates. She directs the Savage Lab, which integrates field studies, laboratory experiments, ecological modeling, and genomic profiling to investigate disease ecology, population genetics, and conservation biology.

Her primary research examines how populations evolve in response to climate change and emerging diseases, with emphasis on genomic adaptations.
