Anna Rubczak

Dr Anna Rubczak is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Urban Design and Regional Planning, Gdańsk University of Technology. Her work focuses on urban regeneration strategies, water-land interactions in the Vistula Delta, and GIS applications in urban education. She holds a doctoral degree (dr inż. arch.) in architecture and urban planning.

Research interests include placemaking, regional identity revitalization, and climate change impacts on delta regions. Notable awards include 2nd place in the 'Korzenie i Skrzydła' competition (2023) and the Silver Honor Badge from the Polish Urbanists Society (2022).

Teaching spans urban design studios, regional planning, and spatial development courses for architecture and spatial management students. She collaborates on projects like Gdańsk Public Spaces 2030 and RiConnect infrastructure rethink initiatives.
