Anna Perelomova

Anna Perelomova is a Professor at the Institute of Physics and Applied Computer Science within the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at Gdańsk University of Technology. She holds the title of prof. dr hab., which she obtained on January 30, 2018, in the field of Physics (Physical sciences).

Her research focuses on nonlinear phenomena in acoustics and plasma physics, particularly examining wave propagation, magnetohydrodynamics, and thermodynamic processes in various media. She has made significant contributions to understanding acoustic heating, magnetosonic beams, and wave interactions in dispersive media.

Professor Perelomova's recent publications (2020-2025) demonstrate her continued leadership in nonlinear acoustics and magnetohydrodynamics. Her work spans theoretical analyses of wave propagation in plasmas, thermodynamic aspects of acoustic phenomena, and mathematical modeling of complex fluid behaviors. She frequently publishes in high-impact journals including Contributions to Plasma Physics, Acta Physica Polonica A, and Archives of Acoustics.
