Professor Anna Pegoretti is affiliated with the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics at the University of Cambridge, where she serves as the Professor of Medieval Italian Literature and Culture. Her work focuses on medieval and pre-modern Italian studies, with a particular emphasis on Dante, autobiographical narratives, and interdisciplinary connections between text and image.

Her research spans thematic areas such as Colonial, Postcolonial and Decolonial Studies, Literature, Visual Culture and the Arts, and Translation Theory and Practice.
