Anna Nikupeteri is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Lapland, specializing in Social Work. Her primary affiliation is with the Department of Social Work. She actively contributes to research on post-separation stalking, children's rights in domestic violence cases, and systemic barriers in service provision.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on post-separation stalking, violence against women, children's experiences in high-conflict separations, and fostering service user involvement in social work practices. She advocates for child-centered approaches in intervention strategies and systemic reform.
Recent Contributions: Her 2024 book Ex-Partner Stalking and Children synthesizes global insights on stalking's impact on minors. She co-leads projects like CAPUCS (2023-2027) and Jäkälä (2024-2027), addressing aftercare services and child protection in high-conflict separations.
