Anna Moszczynska

Dr. Anna Moszczynska is an Associate Professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Wayne State University within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her academic journey includes advanced degrees in

Her research focuses on Addiction and Substance Abuse, Neuropharmacology, and Neurodegenerative Diseases, particularly investigating

• Parkin and Proteasome as molecular drug targets in Methamphetamine Use Disorder (MUD)
• Transposable Elements (rat LINE-1 and Identifier elements) in METH neurotoxicity

using rat models and techniques like 2D gel electrophoresis, Co-immunoprecipitation, In Vivo Gene Transfer, and Proteomic Analysis.

Recent publications highlight her work on parkin-deficient models (2021, 2025), epigenetic mechanisms (2023), and protein interaction networks (2024, 2025). Her studies explore METH-induced transcriptomic changes, VMAT2 interactions, and neurochemical biomarkers.
