Dr. Anna Maszorek-Szymala is a Teaching Assistant Professor at the Sports Pedagogues Training Center within the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Lodz. She has served as an academic teacher since October 18, 1996, specializing in physical culture sciences with particular focus on sports pedagogy and health education.

Dr. Maszorek-Szymala's research interests center on physical culture, sports science, and health promotion. She actively contributes to the field through her teaching of health education and health promotion, leisure time pedagogy, and statistics. Her work emphasizes practical application of knowledge in sports pedagogy, particularly in athletics education. She is a strong advocate for healthy lifestyles and physical activity, both in her professional work and personal life.

Dr. Maszorek-Szymala is an active member of several university committees and teams, including the Conciliation Commission of the University of Lodz (2020-2028) and the Council of the Senior Home of the University of Lodz. She participates in the UniLodz 'Uwolnij Energię' project, organizing running training for university employees, and represents the Faculty of Educational Sciences at university events.
