معرفی
Anna Lece is a PhD Leading Researcher at the Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Riga Stradins University. Her research focuses on antioxidant defense mechanisms, oxidative stress in health/disease contexts, and biological activity of natural substances. She is actively involved in projects like developing non-alcoholic berry-fruit wines and assessing occupational risks in 3D printing industries.
Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences (Latvian Council of Science). Her expertise aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to Good Health & Well-being and Responsible Consumption & Production.
Research Interests: Includes blood antioxidant systems, pharmacological properties of plant/microbial agents, and regulatory aspects of medical devices/food supplements. She collaborates across disciplines to address environmental health challenges.
Recent Projects:
- Optical real-time measurement device for sepsis patients (2020-2026)
- Antioxidant activity of dietary supplements from natural substances (2024)
- Occupational health risks in 3D printing (2022-2023)
Advising: Supervises bachelor thesis students like Ingija Laine Piļicka and Ksenija Kukuļa. Her work bridges clinical, environmental, and industrial applications of antioxidant research.
