Anna Kołodziejczyk

Anna Kołodziejczyk is an adjunct professor at the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts, affiliated with the Faculty of Painting and Drawing and the Painting Department VII Studio of Painting & Drawing. Her work bridges conceptual art with technical mastery, focusing on architectural decay, ornamentation, and socio-cultural memory.

Her research explores themes like post-industrial ruins (Obraz zniszczeń series), chromatic theory (Perfect Black), and historical reimagining (Villa Pepita). Key exhibitions include the 2020 Samotność installation (part of the 50th anniversary of Wrocław ’70 Symposium) and the 2011 House of Change curatorial project.

Awarded the Wrocław President's Award (2007) and Format Art Prize for her Ornament nie jest zbrodnią exhibition, her practice spans painting, installation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She actively engages with Wrocław's cultural landscape through institutional partnerships like Fundacja Art Transparent.
