معرفی
Anna Klebes is a Group Leader/PostDoc at the Laboratory for MEMS Applications within the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg. She holds a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Graz. Her master's research at the University of Basel under Prof. Martin Spiess focused on protein integration in cell membranes. She began her PhD in 2018 at IMTEK's Immunoassay group under Prof. Zengerle. Her work bridges biomedical research and microsystem technologies, with a focus on biosensor development and microfluidic applications.
Key research interests include MEMS-based biosensors, microfluidic systems for biomedical analysis, and protein-membrane interactions. Her 2021 publication in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences explores transmembrane domain integration mechanisms. She is affiliated with the Laboratory for MEMS Applications, part of the Faculty of Engineering, and maintains an office at Hahn-Schickard building (Room 103 01).
