Anna Kiriliouk is an Assistant Professor in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics, University of Namur, and affiliated with the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Business Administration. Her research focuses on copulas and extreme-value theory with applications to environmental and financial risks.
- PhD in Statistics (Université catholique de Louvain, 2016)
- Master in Applied Statistics (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, 2012)
- Bachelor in Mathematics (Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, 2010)
Her research leverages multivariate analysis to model tail dependencies in high-dimensional data, particularly for climate extremes and financial risk assessment. Recent projects include EXALT for extreme weather attribution and NEXT-STAT for climate change impact modeling.
Key publication trends include statistical modeling of compound climate events, hypothesis testing for boundary parameters, and applications of copulas to environmental variables. Her work has been cited 193 times with an h-index of 7.
- FRIA research fellow (PhD)
Anna teaches courses in advanced quantitative methods, regression models, and statistics for economics and humanities. She leads projects such as 'Flexible statistical models for compound climate events' and 'EXALT' funded by diverse grants.
