Anna Ioanes

Dr. Anna Ioanes is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of St. Francis, where she leads courses in teaching composition and explores innovative pedagogical approaches. Previously, she was a Brittain Fellow from 2015-2018, contributing to debates on online and hybrid teaching methodologies.

Her research focuses on visual rhetoric and the integration of infographics into writing instruction. A frequent contributor to the USF Lit Works blog and co-editor of TECHStyle, she challenges myths about EdTech's impact on academia, engaging with platforms like Khan Academy, Minerva Schools, and MOOCs such as the University of Pennsylvania’s ModPo.
