Anna Guerman

Anna Guerman is an Associate Professor with Habilitation in the Department of Aerospace Sciences at the University of Beira Interior. She serves as Director of the course on Nano-Satellite Development and leads research at the Centre for Mechanical and Aerospace Science and Technologies (C-MAST). Her affiliations include membership in the International Academy of Astronautics and Associate Fellowship at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Her research focuses on space dynamics, satellite control systems, astrodynamics, and spacecraft formation flying. She has pioneered methods in orbital mechanics and nano-satellite technologies, with applications in earth observation and deep-space missions.

Guerman's publications demonstrate consistent focus on orbital mechanics, spacecraft control, and innovative space technologies. Recent work involves optimization of orbital maneuvers, femtosatellite swarm control, and space situational awareness systems. Her research integrates theoretical modeling with practical aerospace applications.
