Anna Fung serves as an Assistant Professor of Management at the Kogod School of Business, American University, where she is actively engaged in research and teaching within the Department of Management.
Her educational background includes:
- Ph.D. in Strategic Management, University of Washington
- B.S. in Management Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Her research critically examines the intersection of inventive breakthroughs and sustainability, investigating how organizations leverage innovation to reduce environmental harm while advancing ESG and CSR initiatives. She pioneers methodological integration of computational linguistics with traditional approaches like interviews, regressions, and surveys to address global sustainability challenges and create long-term business value in evolving technological landscapes.
Dr. Fung teaches Strategy, Entrepreneurial Strategy, and International Strategy across undergraduate and graduate programs, and serves as coordinator for the undergraduate capstone course MGMT-458 'Strategic Management'.
