Anna Decewicz

Anna Decewicz, PhD, is the Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Probabilistic Methods within the Institute of Econometrics. She has served as Vice-Dean of Master’s Studies from 2016 to 2020 and has been the head of the Department of Probabilistic Methods since 2020. Her academic background includes a graduate degree in Quantitative Methods and Information Systems from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

Dr. Decewicz specializes in econometrics, operations research, and applications of Markov models. She has supervised numerous bachelor’s and master’s theses, contributing significantly to academic mentorship. Her research focuses on probabilistic methods and their integration with economic analysis, reflecting her department’s emphasis on quantitative approaches.
