Dr. Anna Burrichter is a PostDoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Intestinal Microbiome, Technical University of Munich, since 2025. Previously, she worked at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2020-2024) and completed her PhD in microbiology at the University of Konstanz (2015-2020).
- Educational Background: BSc (2011), MSc (2015), and PhD (2020) in Life Sciences from University of Konstanz
- Academic Focus: Microbiome evolution, host-microbiota-pathogen interactions, and phage-bacterial dynamics
Her research integrates anaerobic microbiology, analytical chemistry, and mathematical simulations to study gut bacterial communities. Recent publications examine synthetic microbiome ecology (2023), Oligo-MM modeling (2023), and in vitro interaction networks (2022). She combines cross-disciplinary approaches with computational modeling.
