معرفی
Dr. Anna Bergstrom is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Boise State University. Her research focuses on watershed hydrology, biogeochemistry, glaciology, and landscape change impacts on water resources. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado (2020), an M.S. from the University of Montana (2015), and a B.S. from Montana State University (2011). Her work combines field, laboratory, and modeling approaches to study rapidly changing environments, including glaciers and alpine watersheds in Antarctica and Alaska.
Teaching responsibilities include courses in Hydrogeology (GEOS/CVEN 412/512), Aqueous Geochemistry (GEOS/CVEN 426/526), and Field Methods in Hydrology (GEOS 626). She leads the Bergstrom Watershed Biogeochemistry Lab, which emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration to address hydrological and biogeochemical processes in dynamic landscapes. Current research projects explore glacier-sediment interactions, snowmelt contributions to streamflow, and nutrient cycling in polar environments.
Student opportunities are available for motivated researchers; contact her via email at annabergstrom@boisestate.edu or visit her lab website. She is affiliated with the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR) and the McMurdo Dry Valleys LTER. Office: ERB 4155, Boise State University.
