Anna Bem-Borucka

Anna Bem-Borucka is a Polish sculptor and academic affiliated with the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts, where she has held teaching and leadership roles since 1980. Currently, she leads the Department of Fine Arts at the Inter-Faculty Institute of Art Sciences and teaches Drawing and Painting at the Faculty of Graphics.

• Degree: PhD in Fine Arts (specialization: Ife Art – Nigeria, Benin)
• Habilitation: Spirit and Matter – My Vision of Sculpture

Her research explores intersections of anthropology, philosophy, and art, focusing on creating minimalist cultural narratives through symbols. She has participated in over 50 international exhibitions across 20+ countries, including France, Canada, and Israel.
