Anna Alsager

Anna Alsager serves as an Instructor of Animation in the Cinematic Arts program at George Fox University, a position she assumed in 2023 after returning as an alumna. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematic Arts with an Animation Concentration from George Fox University (2019).

Her professional expertise spans Animation, Game Development, 3D Modeling, Character Animation, Set Design, and Digital Art. Prior to her faculty role, she spent five years as a lead artist/animator and game developer at Soma Games, where she directed artistic visions, created 3D assets, designed sets, and implemented artwork into 3D levels. She also served as lead animator for So Peculiar, managing all character animations and scene timelines.

Anna received the Best Animation award at the Fox Film Festival for her short film Fly Trap during her junior year at George Fox. Outside academia, she resides in Newberg, attends RockPoint church, and enjoys hiking with her golden retriever, reading fiction, and playing board games.
