Ann Van Gysel

Ann Van Gysel is a Professor at KU Leuven's Faculty of Engineering Technology, where she heads the Materials and Constructions unit at De Nayer Campus and serves as program director for the POC Bouwkunde. She holds multiple leadership positions including membership in the Board and Council of the Faculty of Engineering Technology.

Her research focuses on:

• Advanced concrete technologies including precast systems and 3D printing
• Structural behavior of composite materials and joints
• Sustainable design methodologies for construction
• FRP reinforcement and experimental validation of structural models
