Ann Rutter

Dr. Ann Rutter is a Medical Educator at the Department of Medicine, Albany Medical College. She specializes in Family Medicine with a focus on primary care obstetrics, women's health, and inpatient/outpatient procedures. She earned her MD from Albany Medical College (2008) and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Rutter leads national medical education initiatives, currently chairs the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s (STFM) Medical Student Education Committee, and serves on STFM’s Board of Directors and the Alliance for Clinical Education. She is also the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Administration at Albany Medical College.
