Dr. Ann Ostrovsky serves as Chief of Ophthalmology Services, Program Director of the Ophthalmology Residency, and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmic Surgery at East Carolina University Health (ECU Health). She joined ECU Health after nearly a decade at NYU Langone Health Department of Ophthalmology, bringing extensive expertise in corneal diseases and refractive surgery.
Dr. Ostrovsky completed her medical education at Albany Medical College, followed by ophthalmology residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital and a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Her research and clinical interests focus on Cornea & Refractive Surgery, with specific expertise in Stevens Johnson syndrome and keratoconus. At NYU Langone, she directed the Keratoconus Program for five years and co-founded T21, a multidisciplinary program for patients with Down Syndrome.
Fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish, Dr. Ostrovsky is committed to building ECU Health's ophthalmology department into a regional leader in cutting-edge ophthalmic care, research, and education while providing excellent multidisciplinary eye care to patients across eastern North Carolina.
