Dr. Ann Martin is a Professor specializing in 20th-century literature with a focus on Modernism and its intersections with cultural studies, gender theory, and the lived experiences of modernity. Her interdisciplinary work explores urban landscapes in early 20th-century writing, fairy tale intertextuality in modernist prose, and the cultural significance of the motor-car in interwar British fiction.

- Author of Red Riding Hood and the Wolf in Bed (2006), analyzing fairy tales in modernist fiction
Her research spans collaborations on Woolf studies, children's literature, and pedagogical innovation, including SoTL publications on interdisciplinary teaching methods.
