Ann England is a Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Law, with a focus on experiential legal education. She serves as Director of the Korey Wise Innocence Project and holds the Schaden Chair for Experiential Learning, while also being recognized as an Elizabeth Cook Distinguished Faculty Fellow.
Her academic work includes founding the Korey Wise Innocence Project, which advocates for wrongly incarcerated individuals through litigation, education, and outreach. She teaches courses in Wrongful Convictions, Poverty Law, Jury Selection, and Comparative Criminal and Juvenile Law, alongside coordinating national training programs for capital defense attorneys.
Ann England is an active board member of the Colorado ACLU and former board member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. Her career prior to academia included roles as a trial attorney at the Federal Public Defender's Office and the Colorado State Public Defender's Office, where she served as division lead.
