Ankit Shah

Ankit Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at the University of South Florida's College of Engineering. He directs the Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory for Secure and Efficient Systems, focusing on AI-enabled decision-support methodologies for detecting and mitigating physical and digital threats in defense and civilian applications. His research has earned him the 2023 USF Outstanding Research Achievement Award for contributions to AI-driven threat detection.

In 2022, Shah secured $1.35M in grants as PI/Co-PI, including U.S. Army funding for adversarial evolution research.
