Anke Hagen

Anke Hagen is a Professor at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). She has held significant roles, including Head of Program at Risø DTU’s Fuel Cells and Solid State Chemistry Division. Her expertise spans material science, electrochemistry, and catalysis, with a focus on solid oxide fuel and electrolysis cells. She is fluent in German, English, Danish, and Russian.

Education:

• Dr.rer.nat., Dr. techn. from the University of Leipzig (1985–1990)

Research Interests: Dr. Hagen’s work centers on mesoporous catalysts for hydrocarbon reactions, solid oxide fuel cells, and electrolysis technologies. She also contributes to analytical chemistry, laboratory setup, and fundraising. Her research aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to clean energy and innovation.

Grants & Projects: She leads projects like Co-electrolysis for green chemicals and Nano-engineering of Ni-stabilized zirconia electrodes, supported by grants and partnerships. She supervises multiple PhD students in energy storage and fuel cell technologies.
