Anjishnu Banerjee

Dr. Anjishnu Banerjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He joined the faculty in 2014 after earning his PhD from Duke University. His research focuses on integrating statistical methodologies with clinical and biomedical data to address challenges in oncology, radiation therapy, and healthcare analytics. Key areas include federated learning for medical data privacy, radiogenomics in neuro-oncology, and prognostic modeling in cancer treatment. Dr. Banerjee has contributed over 50 peer-reviewed articles since 2023, spanning topics from biomarker discovery in degenerative cervical myelopathy to machine learning frameworks for heterogeneous healthcare data. His work emphasizes translational research bridging basic science and clinical practice, particularly in improving outcomes for cancer patients and their caregivers.
