Anje Müller Gjesdal is an Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Bergen. Her research focuses on French language studies, political discourse, semantics, and discourse analysis, with particular emphasis on climate change communication, migration narratives, and gender studies. She has contributed to projects like CLARINO and LINGCLIM. Her teaching includes French grammar and translation at undergraduate levels. Key publications include analyses of climate change terminology, migration narratives in textbooks, and translation challenges in feminist literature. She co-edits journals like ELLA and has presented at international conferences on multilingualism and intercultural competence. Her work bridges corpus linguistics with sociopolitical themes, emphasizing the role of language in shaping societal debates.
