Anita Showalter

Anita Showalter, DO, FACOOG (Dist), is the Chair of Specialty Medicine and Division Chief of OBGYN at Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also serves in leadership roles on the Board of Directors of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) and the Board of Trustees of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG). With over 25 years in clinical practice and 16 years in academic medicine, she specializes in women’s health and osteopathic principles.
