Anita Mirijamdotter is a Senior Professor of Informatics at Linnaeus University, Sweden, since 2008. She holds leadership roles as Head of Subject for Informatics and leads the Informatics research group. Her research focuses on digital capability, systems thinking methodologies, knowledge sharing in information-intensive organizations, and participatory action research. She has extensive global experience in higher education, including developing programs at Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels, and supervising 11 doctoral students (8 as main supervisor).
- Education: PhD from Luleå University of Technology, with post-doc at Lancaster University (UK) and research stints at University of Colorado Denver and University of Business and Technology (Kosovo).
- Leadership: Former Vice-Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology (2010–2012) and Head of Informatics Department (2013–2015).
Research Interests: Her work emphasizes systems thinking for sustainability, digital transformation, and data-driven business innovation. She actively contributes to research groups like LNU Systems Community and Data-driven Business Innovation (DBI).
Recent projects include EU-funded EnTrust (agri-data management) and IGNITE (Kosovo education system digitization).
Publications & Grants: Over 80 publications, keynote speaker at 7 international conferences, and grants from The Knowledge Foundation, Erasmus+, and Swedish National Research School. Her work spans 40+ years, with notable contributions to information logistics and collaborative design methodologies.
Current projects include EU Horizon MSC Training Network EnTrust and Knowledge Foundation-funded Data-Driven Business Innovation.
