Dr. Anita Manning serves as an Assistant Professor at the Sharon Lust School of Education, Augustana University, where she has held faculty position since 2015. Her academic focus centers on educational administration and adult/higher education within the Master of Education program.
Dr. Manning earned her Ed.D. in Educational Administration/Adult and Higher Education from the University of South Dakota in 2009. Her professional background includes significant K-12 experience as a reading specialist, interventionist, and classroom teacher within the Sioux Falls School District prior to transitioning to academia.
Her research interests span Educational Administration, Adult Education, and Higher Education, with specialized expertise in Reading Education and Educational Intervention strategies. This interdisciplinary focus bridges theoretical frameworks with practical classroom applications, particularly addressing literacy challenges and administrative leadership in diverse educational settings.
