Anita Krishnan is a Teaching Professor and Professorial Fellow in Accounting at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. She serves as the Deputy Head of School Education (DHOSE) and chairs the Board of Examiners for both the UK campus and the University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM). Anita plays a key role in curriculum design, quality assurance for AACSB accreditation, and enhancing student experience metrics like NSS and Guardian League Tables.

Her research focuses on Governance, Gender, and Corporate Performance, informed by over 20 years of professional experience in accounting and compliance roles at major stockbroking firms. She has taught Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Management Accounting at undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA levels in the UK and Asia.
Anita actively participates in university governance through committees like the Academic Quality and Standards Committee (AQSC) and the University External Examiner Scrutiny Group (EESG), while also contributing to international collaborations via the UoSM Liaison Committee.
